TIE BREAKER VOTES NOW BEING ACCEPTED
Kenny has closed the main polls, however we are now
voting on tie breaking votes for five members.  The
vote system is up and running until further notice
from Kenny_Conklin, aircraft carrier warrior.

Were the decals lost or not included?  You could paint the markings...in 1/128th scale!  Ouch. Banged Head [banghead]

Still looks like a cool little build.

Yeah, definitely.  I'm excited about this build.  It's neat to have
you guys pick about the last kit I would have grabbed.  Kinda
captures the spirit of the GB.

So far, I think the kit profile is pretty accurate; that's the most
important thing. You can fix just about anything else.  I will print
out some 3-views to compare. I can tell that the nose radome is
definitely off-profile though.  The gears are already turning on how
to make a new one.  Hand-carve from balsa maybe...

The kit does have decals, but they look like a 10-year old
drew them with a fine-point Sharpie!  LOL.  I'll probably just
print my own decals at Kinkos. I've done it before: it pretty
easy to do.  And the girl at Kinkos is so very helpful.

if we have a majority of the votes in by midnight tomorrow i guess we can close the polls just hope we dont need a tie breaker vote for the tie breaker.

if anything comes down to a tie after this vote i will do the good ole coin toss to see what kit out of the remaining kits is to be built.

Now I've voted in the tie breaker too!

Coin tossing if necessary sounds like a good idea!

Got my tiebreaker votes in! Kind of a shame, I was hoping JL might throw a vote towards my JS-2 which missed it's time in the limelight by only one tick...that's ok though, I'm sure I'll find an excuse to build it anyway. Wink [;)]

Sooooo the Mi-21 is at the top of the heap! I won't get to start on it QUITE yet, it's one of the few kits that were on the list that I don't have the requisite AM stuff "in stock" for. Should be able to get some in from Squadron by Monday or so? If I place the order tomorrow, miiiiight get lucky and see it Friday. Big Smile [:D]

Believe I'm going to be doing the Egyptian markings on this one, the wife decided she liked those the best. Laugh [(-D]

LOL, I'm remembering a title you wanted attached to IMS: Redux, "if you didn't want to build it you shouldn't have bought it."  Great line that for whatever reason seems to apply to you in particular.  Big Smile [:D]

Hopefully the helpful Kinkos girl is also easy on the eyes....

Just voted again, I am number 12 to vote I believe. Sadly I evened up a couple so they are still a 6:6 tie, but I need just one more vote on one of my kits to make it the winner...so close!! I'm hoping to make a small start tomorrow.

Ok, great, just voted and now three of the five are tied again.  Sorry 'bout that! Whistling [:-^]  You might have to exercise an executive decision Kenny.

Thanks guys!!

I will be building the He162; it's now winning 11:3 and so can't be caught no matter what the remaining votes. I already have a cockpit PE set for this and have ordered some resin wheels as they were only $2. I'll take a photo of the kit and PE tomorrow and put it up. Looking forward to this Big Smile [:D]

Banged Head [banghead]

I hope our noble effort doesn't become an exercise in futility.  Clearly, we really like both kits!

Where's that coin....?
