Andrew, I use a Peak C-5 airbrush and I love it.  At $92 I think it's about the best airbrush for the money on the market right now.

Very nice mottle on that little bird!   She's coming along beautifully.

Sweet paint job Mike. Especially for such a tiny plane. I build the Hasegawa 1/72 E-7 as an airbrush exercise not thinking it would be possible to do camo on such a tiny plane but it came out halfway decent. Now 1/48 scale seems like a breeze! I can't wait to see here done!

Got her painted and coat of Future applied last night, I'm off this week so I can stay up past my normal bedtime (I usually get up for work at 0400).  Aeromaster acrylics, you guys know my drill by now.

Hey Dave, it's the E-3.  This will be Ofw. Hans Illner's "White 2" from 4./JG 51.

I think you're right about the IP, should be 66.

This is Tamiya's 1/72 Emil, just a sweet little kit.

Interior, I think I got the instrument panel wrong, should be 66. Only add-on is some Eduard PE setabelts.

Gents I hear what you are saying, if it wasn't for modeling I would go absolutely nuts.  I mean how on earth would I spend my days at work if it wasn't online here or researching my "next" big project. 

Karl that's a lovely cabinet, did you have it especially made or is it a generic unit.

I absolutely agree Karl.  Work would completely drive me around the bend if it weren't for my hobby. 

I like the display cabinet   Very wise of you to set up the desk first.  Allows more time to step back and enjoy the display case afterwards!   I picked up a display case myself at an auction house a few months back.  I need to take a picture now that I have it set up and the models are in it.

The addiction to plastic is what keeps us sane.

I'd never cope with work if I didn't have the bench to distract me.

Lots of building today, though none involving a aircraft directly.

I've spent my morning in Ikea picking up a new computer desk for my wife, and a display cabinet for me.

Obviously the afternoon was spent building both items, desk first of course.

Glad I picked up the cabinet as it is a huge improvement over my dusty old shelves, I had to shovel the dust off some of these before I put them in their new home.

Think I'll be picking up another one of these next month.

Thank you very much!  I want to do another 190, but am also looking forward to working on some other projects.  Perhaps I'll see you over there later.

I have that same disease Frank. Im doing something totally different to modelling and then a thought comes into my head from the modelling side of it, and whispers 'If you did it like this......' and then all you can think about is getting to your bench. To the missus, you might as well not be there as your mind is away with the 109's 190's 111's... (Insert area of interest, if you have one RAF, US etc).

I was up at 7.30 this morning. On the bench. LOL.

LOL, I had finally figured out a solution to a problem on my Fokker E.V so I was doing the marathon catch-up.  It felt good to finally be making progress again!

SC- LOL!  I am also putting the finishing touches on my 1/48 Fokker E.V for my Knights of the Sky GB.

Hmmmm... only 3 109's in my stash (including the one I'm working on), one 190 and one 163.  The sad part is there is only one 109 on the shelf too (an E7).  I better stock up before all you guys buy out everything.

Thanks Andrew! I have to more yet to complete. I just got the news today my decals are on the way for my fabric winged Hurricane. I should have my Airfix MkI on Monday. I plan on doing that one in Douglas Bader's markings which I have already sitting on the bench waiting for the kit.

Mabye if we all build enough 109's we can reach the real production numbers of over 33,000 units!

Just goes to show aircraft do get dirty, especially in war time!

I need to build some more 109s, I've only got 5.

That and 4 190s, and 2 262s!
