 Here is a progress update. Have most of the gear and the both figures in paint.

 A few pics...

 The faces were done in oils and the rest in Valejo acrylics. Still need to finish up the gear and then plant everthing on a base.

 Moose, thanks for the encouraging comments. did get most of the stuff primed, lots of seam lines were missed. Had to go back over the hands mainly.

 The colors are spot on, and the B-Berg Tiger looks great, even shiny it looks great. Sorry to hear about the tracks and all the pin marks. Not sure about track direction, I don't believe there was on the Tiger, Don't quote me! Believe it fits only one way. Keep posting progress!

Mobious your Ivans are looking good.  One of these days I am going to have to jump on the grenade and start working on them. 

Here is the current look of my b-berg Tiger.  I got both the green and brown laid out.  I tried to match the pictures and the card from Bison as close as I could.  On the right side I had to get creative along with the rear and top.  I know it is shinny.  It's a by product of using semi-gloss paint.  I had to use them due to the colors that I wanted.  The red brown was mixed with white and dark grey.  As for the green it was just mixed with white.

Next up are the tracks.  Not going to be fun.  The AFV indy tracks are not the best.  Each has 4 pin marks that have to be filled.  In addition to the filling, there is flash in the open areas and along the mold seam.  This is going to take a while.

Just a question about the tracks.  Is there a right and left track or are they the same?

 Thanks for the positive comment espins1. The gaps are filled and should have the driver primed shortly. In the meantime, making a few folded tarps to help fill the rear seat.

 I guess I'll be first to update...

 Canned the original driver and decided to go with a DML figure from the same set as the standing figure. After several fittings with several sets of leg and torso combinations decided on one and began the "Seating of Ivan"

 First the pelvic area and his @$$ were shaved? To narrow his stance and get him lower in the seat. Next his feet were thinned to give additional clearance, then his back was filed to fit into the seat. There were Bits-o-Ivan everywhere!

 The arms were chosen for reach and angle from the shoulder. Hands were added from the spares box, then the steering wheel was removed after the arms and hands were set. The head was attached and turned slightly in the same direction as Anitov. Then the crown, the cool fuzzy russian hat.

 Still have lots of gaps to fill and detail to rebuild, but I'm happy with this driver.

 Just noticed the windshield needs attention, AGAIN

Mobious - very nice job on the GPA. The dullcoate makes a huge difference, looks great. Good recovery on the windshield.

 Moose, that B-berg kitty has got me wanting to build some armor. It really looks good. Looking forward to seeing the camo.

 stickman, When the top and lower hull are together does the side profile look correct? May have to fill the gap with styrene.

 shot some dullcoat on the GPA, didn't mask the windshield. Thought I could get by without. Guess what? it frosted like a witches mamilliary glands! Spent the next couple of hours building a frame from styrene. Originally was going to build a windshield for this but decided against it, at least I'd thought I did. Must be Freudian thing.

 Here is how it turned out...

 Just about lost both of the windshield slides. I had set them down in a safe place for keeping while I reconstructed the frame. Took the pictures and realized that I had forgotten to install them, AGAIN! Turns out the safe place wasn't so safe, found both lying on the desk, under my keyboard. Whew that was a close one. reattached the slides.

Mobious... I'm pretty shure every thing is lined up I cheked like 5 or 6 times and the fronts of the hulls fit great. And yes the PE was in the kit but I'm not useing it all there are 2 sprues of it and lots of it is tiny wich I'm not very good with yet but hopefully I'll be able to get better with it.

 stickman, that's a big gap? Are you sure everything is lined up and not hanging up somewhere? Might be a bulkhead needing attention. The PE looks good, was that in the DML kit?

 Moose, not sure if the PI (Plump Ivan) is going to work out, appears he's seated for the taller seat of a Jeep/Gaz not that of the low profile racing seats that the Seeps were equipped with! Have a few other options open for a driver. Haven't given up yet. Looking forward to seeing the BBerg Tiger under colors. (I see you've painted her) Looks good too. The stowage bin turned out great. Really nice looking color of DG. Nice job on the paint.

Here is some pictures of my kitty in faded dunkelgab.  I fixed a few booboo's.  Namely CA glue strings and filling holes.  I think I finalily got the side of the turret basket done.  I think

I will blend the new spray into the older color when I apply the redbrown and dark green.  Man do these tigers have a ton of road wheels.  I feel sorry for the poor dude that had to work on these animals.

Just spotted a mistake.  I have a glue line on the front armor plate to the side of the bow machine gun mount.

Well guys I got some work done on my build this weekend.

There where some very big egector pin marks on the bottom of the fenders that needed to be filled.

And test fitting shows a realy big gap where the hulls meet.

I realy don't like the kit fenders so I'm probably going to modify theme a a bit tomarow.

 Thanks tigerman, looking forward to seeing the AFV PAK40 pics soooon! Hope those itty bitsy parts aren't giving too much trouble. The Maxim came from the Tamiya GAZ kit, it's an oldie but looks like a decent easy to build kit. The figures aren't much to look at. I'm trying to get the driver's @$$ behind the wheel of the Amphi without destroying it! Never realized that the overweight Ivans were assigned to the motorpool

 Applied a few washes, repainted the Maxim and added a DML ammo belt from the spares box.

 Here's a pic of the progress...

 Knocked off the windshield slide last night, didn't know until I took a couple of pics today. Seen it was gone thought to myself "I'll never find that". Happened to open the desk drawer and there it sat on top of my Evergreen styreen. For every PE part I've found dozens have went missing without a trace?

Real nice Mobious. Where did you get the Maxim, from the Tamiya Russian figure kit?

Well, I'm suffering from BMS (Blind-man syndrome) for looking at all these tiny pieces. This is turning into one of the more challenging builds I've dealt with. Lots of tiny pieces, poor instructions and lots of sanding and puttying. I do hope I stick with it to the end.

Update on my b-berg tiger.  Well, I got the pre-shading done and guess what.  More sanding. .  I then thought that the sanding was all done and I sprayed the first coat of dunkelgab.  For this I used around a 50/50 mix of middlestone and white.  Looking great so far till I did a close inspection.  And the sanding sticks were not ready to go into the tool box.  Again the f'n turret basket called out to me.  And not to let the turret basket feel lonely I found four tool holes that I thought were good, were not.  Out came the putty again.

Well thats it for now. I am off to sand again.  Will update with pics as soon as the filling and sanding is done.

 espins1, thanks for the comment. Looking on the net today and found a picture of the maxim M1910.  got some painting to do on that.  looks like the entire carriage and barrel jacket were OD. Got some belt ammo for it just need to get it painted the correct colors!

  did get most of the weathering done. Need to bleach the seats out. Will be posting some pics.
