Thought I woud post these. These were believe my second build about a year and a half ago after returning to modeling from about a 20+ year absence. Working on my present build reminded me of theses guys. They too are of odd subject, made by a not so talked of company and at times a troublesome kit to build.
So here they are, starting with the Polish TK-3
And now the Polish TKS
This last shot put some reference in to help show the tiny size of these things. They are 1/35 by the way.
There are many things that should have been added and improved but as said these were the second built. Even with that said I still like these guys. Did drill out the barrels and exhaust pipe, cut out intake and added screen, added MV products lens, finally first scratch building, was not much, the small rack under the exhaust. Hope everyone enjoys.

It never ceases to amaze me at how tiny some of these pre- and early-war machines were. I can only imagine at the bravery of the crews in terms of riding those into combat! Nice work on both of the little guys.

RPM I presume?
I have two of these and I'm planning on detailing the interior of the TKS... Looks like a fun small project, but I'd really like to find the Aber PE update set for the TKS. It would make the project sooo much easier. Looks great, and I love the unique subject matter.
FACEBOOK: Ryan Olson Thorgeirsson for pics of all my builds.

Bill - You have the same thoughts as I about the crews, that is what really got my intrest in these vehicles. Can not remember what book I have but it was saying most of these vehicles were just wiped out. There was one TKS though that took out somewhere around 20 German vehicles thats to include some PZ III. That is impressive to me and would have to indeed be a brave crew.
Nijal - Yes your right, RPM. I would love to see someone make this kit into what it could be so get to it. If I remember correctly the running gear was quite fidley and the tracks were just a pain. If you were going to go all out I would see about replacing the tracks but do not think anyone has AM tracks. The kit tracks were managable with patience. I used the kit indie tracks. I too have thought about getting another one of these and try doing a better job with it. Think if I were get more of this series, would get TWK (one with turret) and the TKS-D (open top with 37mm Bofors AT gun). They also have an Artillery tractor version with gun in tow.
Thanks for both of your comments.
Cool little kits. I have to say I like builds of unusual subjects.
Thanks for sharing

No two ways about it,they look great.
I find that the more unusual kits like these are the most satisfying at times.
Hercmech, TD4438, Thanks for taking a look and for the great comments.
Hello!
These are sure two nice looking little vehicles. I just have seen some of those in my local hobby shop (in Poznan, Poland). There was even one "Super set" with complete interior on the shelf. Plus I'm always glad to see vehicles used in Poland on the forums. Congratulations and keep 'em comin!

Beautiful! I struggled with the TK-3 many years ago until I finally gave up on it. I just could not get it to go together.
A real pleasure to view these.

Baby tankies!
Their mom and dad should be so proud! Such nice camo--I can see the family resemblances!
Seriously, they're cool! What a great little additions to the display case.
I'll bet they help you get chicks...
the doog I'll bet they help you get chicks...
I dunno about that doog... in this case, size may matter.
