lol frosty. Doing it right the first time save time later. I have too much to do the screw up and have to do it again. This coming from someone who watched LOTR:TFOTR 4 times Mon. instead of doing homework. Am paying for it now lots to read.

Frosty Here's length's for comp. t37 still smaller
Somua 5.38m
Stuart 5.08m
U. Carrier (Bren) 3.75m
drum roll
T37 light amphibious tank 3.73m winner by .02m
Now if my plexy will give in I can make my dust cover and can leave it out rather them hide it from the dust bunnies and I might actually work on it.

Yep, I was looking at that last night. I already have it done. Now it's proper scale Evil [}:)]

Awwww, cute kitty Clown [:o)]

Overall, how was the kit's fit and finish? I see 1/72's at the hobby shop and would like to get some if the kits are good.

Supersweet, Eric!

Larry, I've seen that big Verlinden Panther, but I simply don't have the patience for that kind of undertaking!

You rock, Erock!! Welcome to Braille!

You know, Ive been wanting to build a 72nd scale Tiger 1 in almost exactly the same style/scheme as that shown in your signature pic. That 1/16 goliath is awesome.

Keep the pics coming, please.

No bucks, no Buck Rogers

Here she is with bigger "Cousin"

(Michael, I use Badger's Anthem 155) For the 1/72 painting, I had the compressor set at 4 PSI and really thinned the Tamiya Acrylics. I would say the ratio was about 25 thin to 75 paint.

Keeps looking better Eric. I think a cool size reference would be that sitting next to the 1/16 Tiger!

Looking good Eric, how did you apply your leaves to the camo. I'm stuck on this part myself.

Eric, remember not to paint the quarter! Defacing the currency. Looks great -- I think it's going to turn into quite a handsome build.

Brian, there is a 1/16th scale Panther. Well, kind of. It's a 120mm scale Panther later A. It's all resin, from Verlinden. Looks nice, and the price is about what you'd pay for a static version of the Tamiya big kits. You'd have to zimmerite it up yourself though. [:0]

The resin individual track links must really be something else to remove from the resin plugs and clean up. [:0][:0]

Looks good, I've got a PIOmodels Bergepanther that includes the hull of the Revell Panther A/D. I've got it built, but not weathered. Those Revell kits are exceptional. I boxed in the grill detail with sheet styrene from underneath to prevent being able to look around the inside of lower hull.

I've also got that Tiger I Ausf H you have pictured. Be brave, pick up the Eduard PE set for it! I've got it, hopefully I'll get it done sometime soon. Too many Braille scale kits with PE

LOL !!!
LQ2:
maybe u could hide the little ones inside the big ones & she wouldn't notice
that u were a closet small scale builder ! Wink [;)]

Tige:
true that re: shelf space !
if i didn't build in 1/72, i'd have run out of room after my 3rd or 4th afv !

Courtney:
if u really want small in 1/72, try a Stuart or Universal carrier !
or build that Somua u've got !
i'm looking forward 2 seeing some of ur stuff !

Looks good Erock!

I've got to get my spray booth setup so I can paint my 1/72 scale Panther for the group build. I still have to build my vent system for the booth.

I've basically finished the build and I'm at the painting stage now.

Good luck on Braille Eric, I'm sure it will measure up to you past quality builds. I too, am surprised you chose a Panther for your first 1/72.

JKeller, 1/72 saves on shelf space also. LOL
