 Carl,  So sorry brotha.  1st, thanks.  The base paint is MM acrylic Sand.  A few guys in the Fort Stewart build think it’s a good match so who am I to argue.

  

Some shading/modulation with Dark Sand lightened with some Sand.

 

  

I went back with Sand lightened with white and sort of unevenly filled in some of the panels.  Then I mixed some Tamiya Buff and white to a very light color mix and thinned it about 9/1 thinner/paint.  About 4 coats of that and everything settles down and pulled together.
