I did manage to get the turret numbers changed, working on the rest. There WILL be some dirt on the hull......
Apprentice rivet counter.
...and dirty, with the turret numbers corrected, hull markings "corrected" and obscured. I wanted to keep this one clean-ish, but maybe next time.

Thanks for looking, as always!
The dirt and mud looks great!
Tank don't look right clean!!!

T'anks G. I swear, I'm gonna build a clean tank, one day for sure. Just cuz.
In a fit of some sort, I decided to get the Magach in paint, so after a couple of hours doing the remaining detail parts (fire extinguishers, mantlet ERA and MG, loader's hatch, bla, bla, bla) I primered it.

And then, since I use really quick-drying Krylon rattle can primer, some color:

Who knows, I might even keep going.
She looks good to me! Hope you'll keep moving along and post more photos.
Thanks. I'll try and keep this current, just not a lot of modeling time right now. I did start a T-34, another parts stash special, that I'll start a thread on soon.
I eventually dug out my decal box and got after the Magach, then started doing some detail painting. I really don't want to let this one languish, and I've got a couple of new projects in mind, so I'm going to make a serious effort to actually get this one far enough along to go on the base I have in mind for, at least. That being said, pics as of Friday:

Cool!!! Love your T-34 but want to see this one finished too!
They're both in the painting stages, so it works nicely, I work on one, set it aside to dry and pick up the other one.

Are the turret tactical markings decals or painted?
Decals, from the Dragon kit. I used MicroSet to lay them down, then several applications of MicroSol to settle them.
Washes, detail painting and such are coming along. I decided to show a variety of roadwheel conditions and even colors, wanting to create the impression of quick repairs.

I thought it would be consistent with the beat up fenders, something I did years ago when I started this model, intending for it to be a US Army tank in SE Asia. It's probably a bit much for an IDF tank, unless it saw use in an urban area, not completely uncommon.
I love watching your work, Russ.
I've got an IDF crew for one of those. Perhaps I'll have to paint them up for you if I can find some time.

Looks good, I like the lived-in look!
My bumper number was HQ-16 on my Humvee when I was the HQ company commander, that would have been cool to have a tank.

Mike, Cliff: thanks. It's all about the fun!
Mike, I still have some Academy figs and Hornet and Velinden heads, so figs are in the plan for this one for sure. Matter of fact, I may use this one on a base/dio I did a couple of years ago, using a Magach6 and M113 that didn't really work. I kind of threw it together, and never really liked it, but this Magach has more potential.
Tellis: I imagine so....
Dirty, dirty, dirty: pigments are on, tracks test fitted but not weathered, and still needs a few small detail parts.

Very nice work on both of these Magach's.
Thanks. Magach5 almost done, should have finished pics up soon.
Ohhhhhhh, awesome!!!
T'anks. Got something else gong now that may be a companion to this one, so I'm going to wait on figs....
