"Road wheel garden" - I love it! Never heard that one before, but its appropriate.
Thank you gentlemen, today I planted my roadwheel garden, right up there with German tanks
Beautiful clean smooth job on the primer!

This is coming along nicely Tojo. The track links look very good. I'm keeping a close watch on this baby.
Was finally able to get back to this one after I finished my F-16.Construction went along nicely, some small bits were tedious but got thru it,its primed and ready for paint.I used the Badger primer,it went down real nice and leveled out, real easy to sand.I plan to try some Misdion Model Paints.
Tojo72 Gamera Tojo: That looks good! I like those bogies a lot more than the insanely complex ones in Builder's model. I don't know about the other kit,but 19 parts for each assembly wasn't exactly simple

Lol, yeah I've built the same kit and they're not simple. But look at Builder's thread- each of his updates gives me a headache just to listen to the amount of work involved...
Been making some progress, completed the hull structure and starting to add all the details
Completed the suspension, and began to tackle the workable links,a little tedious but not bad.I will do a few links here and there to break up the task. As always, thanks for checking in.

Tojo72,
Here is some inspiration for you:
“Ya ya ya, unicorn papoi!”
My son once told me that "Fury" is his favorite movie. I was in my LHS that weekend where I saw the Italeri M4A3E8 "Fury" on the shelves, so I decided to give it a try. I was very surprised when I opened the box! Except for the tracks, it looked much like the M4A3E8 by Dragon that was already in my stash. In other words, the Italeri kit was a real treat!
It was a pleasure to build. The parts fit well, the details were crisp, and there was nothing overly complicated. I even used the kit tracks, which were the cementable D&S tracks.
After I painted it, I placed it I placed it on a muddy, icy, and snowy display base much as in the movie. My son has it on display in his living room.

Confession time: After seeing the Fury movie, my wife bought that same kit as my next birthday gift. I contemplated those tracks for a while, and ended up trading that kit for two Tamiya "Easy Eights". I know, I'm a lightweight.....

Glad you are WIP-ing this. I need a 40 year armor refresher course, this should be a great start.
BrandonK Lol, I have this exact build to be starting soon. The only difference is I got the figures also. This is gonna be very enjoyable to watch. BK

Well not that anyone has been holding their breath, but its been awhile since I posted a build log.I have been getting my feet on the ground again and feel confident with armor. So I will be throwing up some progress pics from time to time if all goes well.I built a Tasca Firefly,so I am familiar with their sherman line. Thanks for checking in.
