Very, very nice King Tiger. You did an excellent job. The figures really help to bring this kitty to life.
Back to the benchDitto to what all have said!!!! What is your opinion of the Mission Models paints? I have some waiting to be used.
Thank you
Mission Model paints,go to their website and read their instructions and follow them, works pretty well,2nd time used.

Thanks everybody for the kind words
The one thing I did with the figures is flat out the uniforms with Alclad Klear Flat,it really makes them dead flat I can't stand shiny black uniforms.
Tojo,
Your King Tiger turn out fantastic. The camo and weathering is very well done. And I can't say enough about the figures. Great job!

That turned out great! I really like the job you did on your figures, and it really does show how big and beautiful that tank was.

Thank you must tell you the zimm is the molded on stuff, and Dragon does a good job with it.
Finished it up yesterday.Pretty happy with outcome, photography could be better.I used Mission model paints and Tamiya.Weathered with oils and,Mig and AK washes and pigments. Thanks for following along
Nice work on the tracks.
This cat is looking menacingly. I like how the decals went on; especially the tank numbers on the barrel. Nice work.
Love those tiger stripes!
Cool, those tracks look good!
Here is my process for Magic Tracks,no jigs or specialized tools.First I lay out one entire side minus 2 links, the King Tiger tracks didn't need any cement, they stuck together pretty good.I use two straight edges to straighten and flatten them.Once they are laid out I apply the cement,Tamiya Extra Thin.I allow to dry for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes I install the run around the running gear. The drive sprocket and idler wheels are not glued, the road wheels are.I allow it dry overnight. Next day I remove the dried run,I painted them with Tamiya Dark Iron for my base coat, next I will weather them and reinstall them, finally closing it at the bottom and touching up. My method has been reliable on all tanks I've tried. Most links won't stay on their own,I have to glue as I go along, but it really doesn't matter,I just cut the drying time to 25 min

Looks good!!!
I wouldn't worry too much about the fenders being bent. If you look at photos they got bent all to hell, torn off, and generally ruined in action.
Been working away on this one, camo painted, details painted, decals on.Fenders and hatches are not attached.Made a mess of the free metal fenders, those are the kit parts. No washes or weathering yet.Next up assembling the Magic Tracks. Thanks for checking in.
That's really inspiring! If I were not already stalled on my second E-8 I'd probably be digging my KT out! Lol
Excellent work so far, Tojo.

She's looking fine! Nice work again Tojo!
TigerII Very nice Tojo and you got the perfect primer, since German armour was usually primed with a red oxide primer. I see that you were able to put on the hangers for the spare tracks. So far looks like this tank is going to come out all right.

Thank you,a little secret,I glued the tracks to the turret first then I inserted the hangers.
I was such an idiot on earlier Dragon KT builds trying to line up the hangers 1st and get them in the right position
