Very nice Tojo and you got the perfect primer, since German armour was usually primed with a red oxide primer. I see that you were able to put on the hangers for the spare tracks. So far looks like this tank is going to come out all right.

Got it primed today.I found Tamiya Fine in Red Oxide,so I decided to try it out for my German Armor.Goes down smooth and levels out same as the gray stuff.I will let it cure for a couple of days.

Meanwhile,I will start up what I call road wheel madness, thanks for following along.

Looking good Tojo. Those Dragon cats are fine looking models. Not long ago I did a Dragon Jagdtiger  and did my own Zimm using a low watt soldering iron.

Tojo: She looks great! All ready for primer! Or at least I primer when I've got metal parts like the barrel and the intake screens. Just wondering if you're doing the same.

Gary: You can embed a video by opening the video in another tab. Then click the sixth button over on the bottom of the post box (a tool tip should come up saying 'Insert/Edit Video' there. You'll get an 'Insert Media' box- click on the address of the video over on the other tab and 'Copy' it. Then click on the 'Source' button on the 'Insert Media' box and click 'Paste' Then click 'Okay' and it should come up in your post.

Got a lot done not real complicated for a Dragon kit,no issues yet.I need to hang the spare tracks on the turret but no marks for the hangers, need to figure out myself.I also used Mr Surfacer to add texture to the exhaust pipes.

Maybe the Hetzer is an ad, but when I go to the thread this is what I see for the first post

See at the bottom where those three boxes are? The middle one is a Hetzer and that's what caught my eye.

I thought you might find my 1/6 Hetzer amusing, especially since the main gun shoots .50 caliber paintballs.

As for "embed", I'm trying to figure out how to post a video right in the thread, instead of just posting a link to youtube.

Sorry for any confusion, I'm still kind of feeling my way around and learning what this site will and will not do for me.

No worries, now I understand, those are Badges that were awarded for participating in Group Builds or Campaigns. They are imbedded in my signature box.The one with the Hetzer was for a 2014 Tank Hunters Group Build.I might have contributed a Dragon SU-100

I dont understand what your saying about a Hetzer, I don't have any Hetzers embedded, nor do I know how that is done.

But thanks for following along

I'll be following along on this one. I have a slightly larger King Tiger I'll be building shortly, and it will be great to see what you do with this one. Maybe give me some good ideas.

I've been surfing through the armor builds and the talent here has me in awe. I hestitate to post any of the stuff I've been playing with since I don't want to offend anyone but I couldn't help but notice the Hetzer in the signature and I thought you might find this mildly amusing. I still haven't figured out how to embed a video in a thread so here's a link to youtube. The hetzer in the video is still under construction so I'll post a photo of what she looks right now but she's still in need of a lot of work. Mostly details stuff, like tools and what-not.

Photos I have figured out so this is what she looks like right this minute.

So what's an "embed code", and where can I get me some of those? Smile

Now that Fury is done except for some figures, this is the next one.Been awhile since I did some German armor so I'm looking forward to it.Always liked the charging knight logo. The kit came With Magic Tracks so I don't need to worry abot AM tracks.I got three figures to try out.

Also I got it on ebay for a good price and the seller included some PE fenders as a bonus that I will try out.Should be fun.
