Nice job Tony.  It is a tiny vehicle, hard to believe they squeezed 4 dudes in there.  I love the finish.  Are you going to build big brother next? (Jagpanther)

Thanks Keavdog,is this quick enough for you ??!!

Gamera

Great job! Other than maybe a little mud or dirt I'd not add anything. Superb job- love the rusting you did on the muffler!

Thanks Gamara,a little Mr Surfacer 500 on the muffler for texture, yes I went a little light on the pigments this time, just some faint streaking which is hard to see in the pics.

The finger is doing well,no surgery just splinted for another 2 weeks, but I was able to finish the tracks and do the weathering and got err done.It was a nice little kit except for the fragile tracks.

Check out the size difference with my KT

Ouch!  I had an NFL style football break the first joint in my left pinky years ago.  I have this theory of being safer on the couch Stick out tongue Here's to a speedy recovery and definitely pulling for you on the no permanent damage thing!

Thanks,

John

Well I know I shouldn't actually play football anymore, but now I know I can't even play catch at a BBQ.Dislocated right index finger, will probably keep me away from the bench for a little.Urgent care referred me to a hand specialist to make sure I avoid permanent damage.

OUCH!! Sorry to hear that! Wish you a speedy full recovery.

Looking real good Tony! You made quick work of building the basic vehicle. Now the tracks are your only real speed bump.

Very cool!!! I did metal track links on a Japanese Type 95 some years ago, about the same size links. I had to shove a bit of wire into the soft metal of every link. Ended up with very sore hands by the time it was all over....

But as Bill said they do look great, the heft of the metal's weight looks soooo good compared to the plastic tracks.

It is looking great so far!  I find that the Fruilmodel tracks add a certain depth of realism to any tank model. Good luck!

I got back from vacation in NJ Monday night and my Fruil tracks had arrived early from the Czech Republic,so I got a small start on them, man they are small as you can see,but the process is easy and as I get more time, they will grow quicker.

thanks for checking in

That looks good Tojo! Nice work!

And I don't blame you on replacing the track links. They'd have to be tiny!

Looking good Tony.  I like that camo.  I can't believe they put 4 dudes in that tiny thing!

Thanks,

John

This is one of the kits that I have been working on,picked this one a few years ago at Armorcon in Connecticut. It's a pretty nice little kit,I was looking forward to trying the Modelkasten type indie tracks that came with the kit,but they were a total nightmare, too many attachment points to clean up,too tiny, the pins didn't hold the tracks together tight,so I dumped them and ordered Fruils.Once they come they will be added and more weathering and streaking will be added. I did a different camo scheme then what the instructions called for.
