Thaks guys. It is indeed a fun and straightforward build. Will put it in some kind of a dessert diorama. Will look good with these guys I built a while ago

OOPS!

Hey, will you remind me? What does LRDG stand for? I know or think LR stands for Long Range I think!

I think it's Long Range Desert Group

Yes, it is indeed Long Range Desert Group. A Commonwealth manned vehicle based early special operations unit of the North African Campaign. Their patrols would usually take weeks and cover hundreds of miles across the open flank in the desert. Later, once the SAS was formed and became a jeep based unit, they would team up with and guide the SAS patrols to their start points of a raid and link up again afterwards for return to friendly territory.

Looks cool CN!

Those vintage Tamiya kits are always fun to build.

That looks good CN! Although my personal taste says more stowage is needed in the cargo bed. Wink That's a fun kit, and I look forward to how this one finishes up.

The LRDG Chevy is looking very good.  Such a great classic Tamiya kit.  Perfect timing to go along with that new show on BBC "SAS, Rogue Heroes".

That's super cool. I'm starting to gather up more of these non-armor wheeled kits as I find them quite interesting visually and they would add a great deal to an armor diorama. Great work, I really like this. Beer
