Tamiya Nissan R390 Gt1

I started this one back in early 2020 when I last let life get to me and shut the bench down. I am back and decided I would finish this up to prep for a group build. Pretty nice kit here by Tamiya and feels good to be back sticking  my fingers to stuff.

Very nice!  Did you do a build thread?  I've got this kit in the stash and it looks quite nice.  I'm wondering how the painting/decaling went.  If I recall the decals do a fade red to black.

Thanks,

John

I did not do a build thread as i have been away from the bench for 2 years. Yes it does have some red/black fade decals and I used most of them over my black/red finish. The decals were a bit tricky as it required some to be cut after they were laid and dried to be able to work the trunk etc. I store my stash in a shed in AZ and the decals get brittle on me.
