Thanks guys, yes as you say can't see or hear it! But how many humans do I run over by mistake!

Was taught to always look both ways before jumping into the street. Sounds like it's on them if they get an up close and personal view of the undercarriage.

Yes goldhammer88, but all manufacturers are now told to add noise, so as not to knock too many people over who don't look firts.

Add extra paint on body, rear door opens, will slide wheels out and pop tyres off clean up and re-paint. add doors, mirrors,glass etc. I won't pose side doors open as I haven't enough room/space in the display cabinet.

Here it is finished. As it came in drab black I needed to brighten it up! But I not sure if I have done. There is a unit over the back wheels which I presume is the electric motor, but everything else covers it up. I also didn't pose it with either of the side doors open as I haven't the space in the display cabinet.

Pat that is one crazy paint scheme. My 1st impression was leaves! Instantly made me think of an electric car and i thought you were doing a paint scheme with an environmental theme. Abstract art is so cool.
Looking at the earlier pics it looks like you covered up the criss crossed black lines. Do they show when you're  looking at it but not on camera or did you decide to cover them up? 

Thanks guys. No TheMongoose I wanted to eradicate the black plastic so painted over them. I also searched 'BMW Art Cars' this morning and I'm amazed that there were 20+ by various artists contracted by BMW over the years including Picasso, Stella, Lichtenstein, Calder, Chia etc!

Due to not having an LHS anywhere around I'm looking at stopping buying/ building kits after about 60+ years.

The main reason is shipping costs, I looked up a spray can I needed for a future project, it was £6 but the shipping was similar at £5.95. As a pensioner I can't afford that.

I've bought some paints/watercolours/acrylics/paper/and a canvas pad of 5 sheets and will do that. 

I've just had a brilliant idea, I will build all of the kits I have left without painting so just bare plastic, until the cement runs out!

I've seen nice work done with hardware store paints.  I love your stuff Pat and would hate to see it end.  I know what you mean about shipping though....

I agree on the hardware store paint. Plus, while reading the back of a can of testors spray paint i learned they were owned by Rustoleum now...so i went and read a rustoleum can. Funny the list of chemicals in it were the exact same. Way less money! I decant them so i can soray right from my airbrush to get a smooth, thin finish. Maybe that would work Pat?

Thanks guys, for your comments. I tried airbrushes but couldn't work out their complexities, measuring this and that and cleaning afterwards, unfortunately too much for me.
