Nice job Mike - I'm a big fan of the Novus line. I actually use it when I'm doing natural metal finishes on my aircraft kit because it leaves such a smooth finish.
Thanks,
John
Thanks Jim and John! I discovered my current polishing regiment by accident. I was using Novus 2 and it wasn't removing my blemish and I figured that I needed something stronger and I used what is now Scratch Doctor followed by Novus 2. It worked very well and I have been using it ever since.

Underhood detail is done and the nose is on. First, it was drawn out in paint and then I added the decals.
More AMG GT to come...
Hmmm;
Looks busy enough to me!
I've been working on the AMG GT. I added the front and rear clips, headlights, taillights and the carbon fiber roof decal. It may be light and strong, but I hate carbon fiber!
I hate installing carbon fiber decals. A real pain.
Your comments and questions are always welcome.
Mr.Mike
Well, I do have to say, You may hate Carbon Fibre decals, BUT you certainly do a nice job in installs!
JohnnyK I hate installing carbon fiber decals. A real pain.
Yes, they are!
The interior is complete!
I went and installed the body and interior onto the chassis, but it looks like I forgot something...the rear view mirror assembly! This took me a while to do since I have yet to install the windows and the mirror assembly didn't want to fit over the two prongs like it should. I must have made a mess of the interior roof.
I am heading for the finish line with my Mercedes-Benz AMG GT. I had an issue with the rear bumper cover as it was reglued several times with tape holding the bumper on during the drying process and then expanding a little along the fender edges. Not sure how I'm going to fix it. Something to think about.
I have finished my Mercedes-Benz AMG GT. I would like to thank all those who have viewed and commented on my WIP.
A few more...
It looks great Mr. Mike.
Turned out great Mike. Engine bay looks great. I sure would like to drive one of those.
Thank you lurch and John!
Beautiful model, Mike. Sure like that yellow color, it is striking.
Sorry I managed to miss this WIP whilst it was in progress.

That whole build came out GREAT Mike! That yellow paint sure pops, don't it?
Thank you Gary Davis! Must be a reason why Mercedes charges $10,000 for a 1:1 paint job with this paint.
You really took advantage of that special paint acquisition!! Looks just like the real pics posted early on. Great work for sure!
In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list, we're down to that Tamiya P-38F/G to use the other nose art Exito Decal (in-flight for this one), & in keeping with MC's hydra theory I bought another F-5E to do in FROG camo! And I just got a Trumpeter 1/32 F/A-18F!
