Just finished the Winnebago and I am pleased with the result . Started it over three years ago and resumed it about a month ago .Made of plastic ,wood and aluminum sheet .Designed the body and the sides are a composite of plastic and wood which added much needed strength .Used the chassis from an AMT Kenworth kit and added interior cabinets, mini fridge, mini stove ,couch ,sink ,table  as well as the dash board ,gauges steering wheel and seats.  learned how to make the various components as well as the front and rear bumpers What an epic challenge and build! Sure it has many flaws but it looks the part of a custom motorhome .I made the front grille inserts from scratch

The build is nearing completion and I am happy with the result.I have scratch built things before but never to this degree.Pretty unique as I have never seen anyone attempt to build a larger motor home like this one   I  have over 3300 views but very few recent comments.. I guess it is too esoteric for A lot of FSM modelers .Not too much more to do so the end is in sight!

Put the side and rear glass in.Due to supply chain issues ,the local hobby shops didn't have clear plastic so I had to use old CD cases. .now I tried to use my usual scribe and break method but the plastic shattered! So I had to use my Dremel with a cut off wheel to cut it out Worked well but I had to use sand paper and my Stanley block plane to make them fit  .Brushed on some Future for good measure.
