Eugene Rowe I certainly did not expect how difficult it was to fabricate the sink out of a flat piece of aluminum.Still somewhat crude but I will take steps to improve the framework of the sink. sheesh!never made a scale sink before but wow!/crazy!

Would it possibly be easier to make a sink out of Milliput or something like that and paint it aluminum? Those compound curves in the corners would be fun to form in real aluminum.
I cut a plastic surround on the sink so I think I could make it Work!
Got the upper cabinets on the driver's side mounted up .
Yep that works!
Yep ,now I'm have to make a fridge and cooktop or stove

Oh I know the feeling. I just finished making an 8-track player with built in five band equalizer.
Loved my Boston 8Track tapes just hated when the tape skipped at odd intervals
Added the passenger side upper cabinets..
Made the spigot out of a rollbar and the hot and cold water faucets out of a couple of wheel knock offs. .

PERFECT!
Thanks!I was going through my parts stash and they seemed to fit the bill!
I used a tooth pick to apply a dot if clear blue and clear red to denote hot and cold water.
I decided to make a mini fridge for this application out of sheet Styrene and chrome sprue fir the handles (which will be removed when I primer and paint it.).
Fridge painted and installed.
Made the mini stove ..

Rather late to the party, but I'll pass this along.
On a similar project, I kept my eye out for clear blister packages and inserts of the sort used for ear buds, small hardware packs and similar geegaws. Took a while of looking...but I eventually found one the perfect shape, size and depth for the sink I needed.
Following from that...you could also fairly easy 'squash form' it from a carved balsa or scrap wood form.
Great work, Gene! Love your inventiveness. Your interior is coming along beautifully!

Thanks!do any of you remember the green appliances of the 70s?I think I will paint the stove green with a darker color fogged around the edges.
That would be perfect!
I will give it a try!
Mixed up the funky green.
I distinctly remember the stove at my childhood friends house had a darker green fogged around the edges of the sheet metal .Put in the gas burners and control knobs.
Made an octagonal table out of .80 Styrene, aluminum tubing and Walnut Veneer.
Outstanding work Eugene!
Stay Safe.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Thanks!I heard the crickets chirping on the forum today!
Eugene, you crack me up. Stove's great. So, in keeping with the current theme, will there be orange shag available?

Building the perfect model---just not quite yet
Ir the lime green shag carpet, lol!
Heh, I grew up with orange shag carpet and dark wood panelling in my house. Also, avocado appliances, a wall phone, and a pool table.
My best friends mom had a reddish brown stove and refrigerator!it was weird even then!
