Looking for something...

I have the 1/16 SWAT team leader and I would like to do a vignette with it. Does anyone know of a kit or series in 1/16 scale of armed civilians? Or a 1/16 kit of an armed person taking aim at something, or squatting, that wouldn't be too hard to convert for a total novice sculptor?

A little rundown on the vignette- The general idea is to have the base split in two by a wall- haven't settled on what- maybe a normal house, maybe a gun shop, something. On the outside is the SWAT leader ready to breach, and on the inside is the armed civ, preparing to fight. The general point would be a near-future revolution, so I could make a military figure work if I just left some thing off and changed the uniform up a bit- got rid of stuff like a Camelbak, replace the ACH with a baseball cap, etc.

Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find anything that I could make work on my own .

On the Bench- Tamiya 1/48 Raiden, Rufe, Buffalo, He 162; Academy 1/72 F-89, Eduard 1/48 F6F-3, Accurate Miniatures 1/48 F3F-2, Minicraft 1/48 XF5F, Academy 1/35 Hetzer, Zvezda 1/35 KV-2 (Girls Und Panzer)

Sprue Bros. Have a good large scale selection on their site.

DEF Models makes a bunch that might work, including a female IDF soldier and a combat photographer.

I kind of like the idea of a woman, it adds tension to the scene.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
