Great White shark model
Posted by sharknuts on Monday, October 14, 2019 7:00 PM

Hi to all

I am new to this forum, and I want to share this Pegasus model kit of a Great White shark I put together, and painted a few years ago.

Now,You See?

That has got to be the Worlds most beautiful Predator. Look How sleek. Now why can't man learn to leave them alone? No, I am not a bleeding heart for Great Whites or any shark. But, to just kill them for their fins? Why not just take a Human and cut their arms and legs off and not give them prosthetics?

This model reminds us that even in an Apex Predator there is beauty. Well Done!!!

(I can hear the tension-building 'Da-dump' music in the background, just looking at it!Indifferent)

Also, welcome to the Forum!

"That's a twenty-footer!"

Excellent finish!

Thanks Tanker

I believe the Great White is on the endangered species list, therefore they can't be hunted down.

That's pretty cool.  Was that the kit that came with the diver and cage?

Thanks,

John

This is a model that really is well done, unusual, and grabs attention.

Thank you for posting it.

Do you model sharks? Guessing from your user name.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Yes, it's a Pegasus model kit that came with the divers cage.

I call my self sharknuts because I am really nuts about sharks!

I have been into sharks since 1973 and when the movie Jaws came out in 1975 I was a 13 year old teenager in his glory when I went to see that movie!

Very well done! The demarcation between the white underbelly and the grey above is spot on. Great job!

Hi Bruce

I made the top of the Great White shark model a little darker.
