Hmm...

I am committed to too many GB's all ready. It would help to know what a Macross is?? Can you post some pictures or links?

Hello Phil H, I am not a Macross builder, but like you I am into Sci-Fi and glad to see another GB starting up in this field of the Hobby World.  I hope you success and if there is anything I can do to be of help, feel free to ask.  GMAlien

Well, at this stage I'm just trying to gauge the level of interest in doing a GB.

My own personal preference would be for as original Macross as possible because allowing alternate schemes would open it up to the Battletech/Mechwarrior adaptations.

It would make little sense calling it a "Macross" GB if everyone wanted to do alternates and  BT/MW stuff. Having said that, there's a number of the Hasegawa Valk kits with non-original "Macross Inspired/tribute" markings.

I am something of a Macross purist though and it's just my own personal preference - anyone else have any thoughts on this?

What would be the restrictions? Would non-macross schemes and markings be ok? I'd like to build a VF-1D as a what-if.

It seems there's more than a few Macross fans here, so I'm wondering if there's enough interest to get a build happening.

So what do you say people?
