I was looking for information on Elon's fleet of recovery barges.
One of the descriptions included a reference to MARMAC 300 barge hull. Googling that took me to MacDonough Marine, builder of many inland & ocean going barges. Their website has drawings of the 300-foot class barge hulls which have become some of the fleet. Deck area is 300 feet by 100 feet, expandable to 170 feet with some folding wings. The wings facilitate Panama Canal width limits.
This is Just Read the Instructions. Using the barge hull drawings from MacDonough plus a couple photos like these a serviceable model can be scratchbuilt. Most of the box structures are shipping containers

Looks like a interesting project. I always wondered what these things looked like. What scale are you building it to?
Cool project. HO or maybe N scale would be a good choice as there are pleanty of shipping containers in that scale. Trumpeter do 1/35 scale containers but that would be a big, big display :)

I'm tooled up for 350 scale. HO scale (1:87) would be about 3.5 feet long x about 2 feet wide. Halve that for N-scale (1:160). 1:350 scale would be about 10.25 inches long by 5.8 wide - more manageable. 700 is halve that -- becomes too small for my 15 dancing thumbs.
Gotta do some research, containers may be available 3D printed, else one of my club members just bought an Eligoo desk top machine. Else, make one and cast copies -- in my skill set.
A couple sheets of polystyrene yardsale sign stock from Lowes will get the structure done.
There are several smaller 3D printed ones available with a raised target circle -- EEEuuh
