That is nice work. I'd be proud of me if that were mine. Painting canopies is always a hard choice to make. Black is a good idea. Lately I've been using dark gray, almost the same.

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I just came across Kyles build and it looks amazing.  I just finished Dragon's Lexington and both kits look to be identical.

Like GM, I too have been using a dark gray on canopies in order to keep them toned down and blended into the look of the entire plane.

Excellent subject choice and I love them camo choice too. Kyle is doing beautiful work on her. I thought 1/350 scale planes were small but 1/700 .... dang!
