TB - I agree wholeheartedly, but the name itself sells, along with "bigger is better"

Yeah , But :

Do we really need another TITANIC ? What about the Normandie/Lafayette ? Or the various Queens or the S.S.United States /the last great liner to take and keep the " Blue Riband "?

I am sorry guys but I am so sad at seeing so many of her .Here's one or two as mentioned starting with the first two .The U.S.S.Cyclops .Or a nicely detailed Victory Class Ship .They carried the Merchant Flag for the U.S til newer types came along . How about the smaller American liners and such that did duty as Troop Ships ?

Or those that started what we now know as the " Cruise Industry ?" Or for something different , How about the first generation American Box ( Container ) ships ?  T.B.

Remember how long it was when news that Trumpeter was coming out with the A-6 Intruder and when it actually hit the shelves.

I'd put more stock in any prototypes shown at model shows, and I haven't seen that yet.

The "box art" may very well be fan-created, not uncommon.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Hi

It's been over a year since Trumpeter announced a 1/200 Titanic. Last summer there was some box art seen on the internet, after that nothing.

Anyone hear anything on the possible release date of this kit?

I'm always glad to see the release of any new cruise ship, especially in this scale, sure hope it don’t vanish from the Trumpeter catalog.

Jim
