Hi Timmy, gl a d to see your back in the mix....missed your banter. Great looking build so far....remember the lines are our friends...kinda applies to stay in the box in a wierd sorta way.

    Stay cool friends always.

When at the refinery, I used to work 16, go home and eat/sleep(maybe), then get up to go back to do another 16,

I can go one better.

Just before my first marrage, I worked in a Foundary 18 hour's a day. The bus ride there was an hour and a half. The bus ride home was an hour and a half......

I lasted 3 week's , before I threw in the towel !!! ( I was late my last day because I fell asleep on the bus, and ended up on the other side of town !

Heh, wait until you go home in the dark, and come back out in the dark, and the car is still warm!!  Indifferent

Grad student working one full-time gig and a contract gig, when the work was there.  I work from home now, so I have to go drive the car so the gas doesn't get old.

Staining plastic with wood stain!!  That's new to me, but I never built this kit as a kid.

Stay cool friends always.

"Stay cool" ... ???

Funny you should mention that. it was 107 here at Demon's Hollow Asylum yesterday.

I have made ZERO progress on this kit these past two weeks....... I'm gonna haveta break my own arm, just to get the world to leave me alone for a few minute's ! ( yes, I can build a kit with only one arm....... the cat's are all trained on  how to use glue...... Rigging ...???  Not so much...)

I have receved some good feedback on the "bent mast" situation, but I have decided to straighten it out. ( it will just look better ) I will be cutting a wedge shape from the "offending" bend, and fitting in a plastik wedge to fill it in. This will not affect the length of the mast at all........ and, for my next "trick", I'm gonna make this cat a congressman !!! L O L !!!

I feel ya about work brother. 107....that does suck. Glad we only had a couple days of hi temps. I work nights so we open the hanger doors around 2am....bugs and bats but cooler. Love the cat idea. Keep plugging away and soon your parts sprurs will be empty and you'll have a model on the shelf.
