the only fault I can find with hobby boss , is the colour chart or lack of , one single piece of paper , then you work it out . 

 bill - I am australian , metric is a way of life for me . I am old enough to be able to convert , but it's a drag to do so . this model is about 700mm long , and going together nicely , not too many bad fit's .

This is really nice.

We all know about the Revell, ex Pyro kits of the Olympia and the Maine (garbage kit).

In 1/235 ish.

I'm a huge proponent of metric scale, mostly because my life has been spent professionally designing things  in "inch to the foot" scale. Factors of 12, not 10.

Imagine a kit of USS Maine, the first one. She was 100 meters long.

1/150 would be 0.66 meters long, about 30 inches.

Nice model.

 

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

started this build about 1 week ago .
