apparently ikar01 , so I just found out , it's called a stern walk , it comes off of the admirals quarters .

I haven't done anything to the deck , I was going to but I like the look of it now .

got a bit more small stuff done .

love these little exhast fans

Steve,

Your PE looks great!  But, I am confused. Is this the Trumpeter or the Academy kit?  My LHS gave me the delux Academy kit while I had my broken knee and hip but I haven't started it yet.

thanks john , I enjoyed building them .

started taking some deck furniture off of it to accommodate the wood sticker .

the wood deck finally on .

also got a bit more PE done .

the hull halves were a real [&^%^] , to put together . had to put some re-enforcing on the inside , hopefully it holds .

the hull painted and mounted on the working board .

I've got one of those on the shelf and will probably be working on it next.  I picked up a Pontos set.  I hope that it works out, I've never had one before.

got a bit of the ol run around with this kit ,ordered trumpeters version of it , got told by another mob  they had the trumpeters PE , all good . forward 5 months went to start it only to find the wood deck didn't fit , all bad , too late to send it back , so I had to order the academy's one . also ordered this book too , which should help .
