Okay!

I have to ask, What is the Lion Holding?

To me it looks like a hatchet--I have no idea what the Dains called it.

Between the noise maker and crown that lion is oviously prepared for New Years Eve!

Okay:

Now where's the Quarter Deck? I want to see the Culverins she would normally be fitted with. A lot of builders leave them off. Question? Is she Tiller or Wheel steered? Many ships of the time were steered with Wheels and Cables(Greased Rope and Pulleys) Others were steered with actual two or three man Tillers connected directly to the Rudder head. It depended on the Builder or the Refit yard and the Admiralty if a Naval vessel!

Hey You!

What can I say? She's gorgeous! Just one thing. You are not real conversant with things nautical, Are you? No, I don't mean what you do, but the descriptive words. If you stop for a minute and don't get Upset with me, I would like to mention something. Some of the nautical descriptions are one word, To save time here-Fan Tail is simply Fantail. See?

I would suggest you got to a Bookstore and pick up a "Bluejacket's Manual". I was issued one many years ago when I enlisted. This will help you with ANY confusing terms so your Maritime language flows as beautifully as your building work, which is incredible. Your fit and finish would make Dr.Tilley (God Rest his Soul ) Proud!!
