Been a while since I've looked at this.  Sorry.  The Redstone has been done for some time and is displayed in my Den.

stunning build, what kind of led's are you using and if you dont mind me asking how did you make the small lights,I have one built as Friendship 7 and 3 others to work on,one is started as Freedom 7 and the other two will be Liberty Bell 7,as flight and as on sea bed when found in 1999,the instrument and clear parts were missing from the kit when a friend gave me it so logical choice to do the damaged/rotted insides cheers Gordon

Stunning work again,I have to ask though as I have 4 of these capsules, one I have allready built a few years ago as Friendship, one I have started as Freedom and the other two were/are going to be Liberty Bell one as she flew and the last one as I aquired it from a friend and the instrument sprue/clear parts were missing as Liberty as she was found in 1999 on the sea floor,I have to ask though what size of led's are you using and how did you make those brilliant light fittings,I now want to light mine,

regards

Gordon

Started the Instrument Panel and had to take a break while the decals were being printed.  The first picture is what it will look like when I'm complete and the second is the upper half of the instrument panel with the gauges reay to install.

Very, very nice work. I wish I could still do things like the Mercury. It was vey early in the space race.

I remember clearly.

Rob, is it me or does the back of the capsule look like it heeds a hair cut or shave? Surprise

Seriously, this is outstanding work. What are you using for the detail reference (just curious as it is impressive)?

This is the Environmental System that will be located below and to the left and right of the astronauts couch. Still need to make a bunch of hoses after this equipment is installed.

The third picture is one of the cameras. This one will be located above the astronauts left shoulder.

Welcome back, Rob!  I was beginning to wonder if something had happened besides the FSM posting SNAFU.  Glad to see you're okay and still at it!

Once again, stellar work!

Ya.  I can finally post.....  Thanks Elizabeth.

A lot has happened since my last post.  The Capsule is moving along at a slow but steady pace.  I received the 1/12 scale A-7 Engine and will start that after I finish The Crack....
