Tichy Train Rivets
Excellent progress.
The scale of this still boggles my mind a tad. If in a good way.
Following this on FB as well. I've been meaning to ask, did you drill holes for the rivets first?
Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.
lewbud Following this on FB as well. I've been meaning to ask, did you drill holes for the rivets first?
No. I removed the head of the rivet from the tree and glued it in place.
Painted the Black Stripe and UNITED STATES Lettering.
It looks awesome... This must be a blast to build at such a large scale. Will it clear the ceiling with the escape tower on? I suppose you could cut a hole in the floor above. It would be worth it.
Very nice indeed! I remember this missile from my youth, and saw it at the Cape Kennedy Space Center.

That is looking so nice, Rob! Almost like you could fuel it up and launch it.

Majority of the Rivets have been applied to the Instrument Section.
Instrument Section almost ready for primer.
Perhaps I missed it Rob, but what are you using for the sheeting?

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Just wow man.. WOW! Very impressive work. Now that is dedication. Good job!
Rob,
I've been following this on the book of Face as well and I've got to know. Are those rivets the Archer Transfers rivet decals or did you have drill and place each one individually? When does the Gemini Titan start?
Nevermind, I just saw that I had already asked this and you answered. This is amazing work.
lewbud When does the Gemini Titan start?
