Now the screw on half capturing the engine and preventing it from moving in either direction.

This is the original solid resin CM. The shoulder was too large to fit properly into the SM tube and I have no lathe to turn it down.

The CM on the left is from Shapeways. Lightweight and hollow. Better definition in details as well.

The original two piece aft interstage had a 1/2" gap. So they were chucked and 0.30 sheet styrene was substituted. After application, I used a straighter cut on the joint.

Vent holes have been drilled, putty applied where necessary and using a rat tail file. Both sides received these vent holes.

Up until March of this year I had been taking this model to a local Starbucks and working on it. A lot of curious people have been asking many questions concerning this project. Men, women, kids have all been highly interested in this build. Everyone wants to see this fly.

There was a brief period when I didn't show up for a few weeks as my bipolar disorder was acting up. Took the wind out of my sails it did. Many people here know of my condition. One gal picked up a card and had folks sign for me.
