See!

Baron, you've been doing the material the same way I have. I will note here that I definitely liked the original formula better, even if it did darken Metallic paint jobs on cars. Sometimes that was good, sometimes bad!

How do you apply the floor wax Future? To windows or other what techniques i tried a brush but it mucked up gloppy or bubbles or streakin.

By hand, or by airbrush, or by dipping.  I have shot it straight and also thinned with water.

Either way, the trick is to apply it lightly, or you will tend to get pooling or drips.

As Ed noted, you can use ammonia to thin any errors.  I've done this, but used Windex (the weak ammonia formula), and just brushed it where the acrylic had accumulated. I do use a paper towel to wick the excess away, but carefully enough not to leave fibers behind.

After dipping a canopy, I've placed it in a takeout container, on a piece of paper towel, and closed it, to protect against dust.

The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.

Ditto. It helps if you use a pair of tweezers to dip it slowly into the Future so as not to make bubbles form on the piece. Remove slowly also. Touch an edge of the piece to the paper towel to drain off any excess before setting down on the towel. Best to let it set at least overnight to cure before handling again. If any bubbles dry on the piece, no problem, just dip in some windex to remove the Future and repeat dipping in Future.

It might take a few tries to get it right, but the result is worth the effort. Let us know how you make out.

Stay safe.

Use household ammonia to strip the misapplied Future.  Clean, rinse, allow to air dry (no fibers from towels).   Then apply the Future as noted by dipping.   Many will tent the piece while it sets to minimize dirt & dust.

I pour it into a small container like a 1/2 cup measure and dip the part in and set it on a paper towel to dry

Thanks,

John
