Who ever thought of using Dymo tape for scribing panel lines was a real genius! I have tried to scribe lines for years and the rulers alway slipped and my lines looked like worms on my models. My first time with Dymo tape, and I was able to scribe the fuselage of a 1/32nd scale Ki-43 in a very short time.
This may not be news to anyone else, but using Brasso, I was able to smooth out the ridge that comes from scribing panel lines, and able to reduce the raised rivets on the Hasegawa Ki-43 with little effort and with a great looking scale effect for the rivets! I just rubbed the Brasso in and buffed fairly hard and the fuselage looks great.
Now if I can remove that burlap looking effect on the fabric control surfaces, I will be happy.
