U.S Navy Aircraft
Posted by AlcatrazLogan on Saturday, May 7, 2011 8:16 AM

I've been trying to track down a website or some resource that provides a comprehensive list of aircraft, fixed wing and rotary, used by the U.S Navy between 1939 and the present day.

I've tried Wikipedia but it's pretty messy and it's missing aircraft such as the S-3 Viking, Google hasn't helped either.

Can anyone here help?

try to find this book:

Danger Zone: The Complete Chronology Of US Naval Aviation 1898-1995, Roy Grossnick.

It has the information you are looking for.
