That Brian L Davis book is a really good one. He also did a two Vol set on German airforce uniforms. My orihinal pair went missing a few years back and i was gutted. I have just ben able to find two more at a decent price.

For armour i am a big fan of the Panzer tracts books.

Squadron Signal do some good refernace books, but i have learnt to check info from their books as they are not always accurate. I try to get as wide a selection of books on the subjects i am most interested in.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Even though I dont do armor I love looking at references like these.

Also painting and weathering methods can be used on things other than armor.

I have a few good book sources that you could probably use. I don't know if any of these have already been posted, but i'll list them anyway.

1- German Army Uniforms & Insignia, 1934- 1945 by Brian L. Davis

2- The Armor and AFV series (don't know the author off the top of my head)Hmm

3- (always a good reference) German Armor 1934- 1945, i don't remember the full title.

Please feel free to post any other sources that you feel are applicable.
