After building Tamiya's 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Me 262A-2A with Kettenkraftrad straight from the box, John painted with Tamiya and Polly Scale colors to depict an aircraft of 1/KG51, Rheine in September 1944. A burnt umber oil wash darkened the panel lines; stretched sprue created the antenna.
