Christopher added a ton of detail to Greenmax's 1/150 scale apartment (kit No. 44), including power meters made from cast epoxy and brass rod, a roof air conditioner from Micro Structures, roof gravel from Woodland Scenics, and photoetched-brass Venetian blinds. "I wanted to capture the creepy desolation of a West Texas tenement at sunrise," says Christopher. To finish the model, he airbrushed a mix of Badger Model-Flex acrylics thinned with isopropyl alcohol and weathered with Prismacolor pencils and chalk.
