Revell’s 1/48 scale kit, embellished with Eduard and True Details cockpit and guns, respectively, was the basis for Jack’s “Black Cat,” a depiction of the Catalina night fliers that flew out of Guadalcanal against Japanese shipping. Jack sponged a mix of Tempura black and white paints for heavy weathering.
