Don, 75, has been modeling since he was 12. He hitched a 1/25 scale scratchbuilt trailer to a Revell Ford pickup truck and loaded up a Monogram ’34 Ford Coupe, heavily modified. “In the 1950s, at Wall Stadium in New Jersey, this is how we built stock cars,” he says. He chopped and channeled the car, replaced windows with mesh, and installed a roll cage.
