“From the
first time I saw the promo picture of Moebius’ Frankenstein, I couldn’t wait to
build it,” says Denis of the 1/8 scale monster. “The sculpt is from a promo
photo taken of Boris Karloff during the shooting of the original movie in 1931.
It’s similar to the first time you actually see him in the film.” Denis painted
with Tamiya acrylics and Model Master enamels, “with lots of dry-brushing on
the floor and wall.”
