“This shows the Florida Air National Guard’s transition from
the Delta Dagger to the Delta Dart,” says Max, who calls this 1/48 scale
tableau “Changing of the Guard, July 1974.” He painted Revell’s F-106 and
Monogram’s F-102 with Tamiya acrylics and Testors enamels; the ground crew and
maintenance ladders are from two Lindbergh Snark kits, the pilot from a Tamiya
ground crew kit.
