writes: “This is the ‘Dustbug,’ my entry in a post-apocalyptic road rally group
build in a Dutch scale model forum, www.modelbrouwers.nl/forum. It won second place.
The Bug was created from the spares box; too many parts to mention, but the wheels
are from Tamiya’s VW Beetle, the frame and rear cowling came from Airfix’s 1/24
scale 500cc Yamaha, and the engine is built up with parts from Tamiya’s Alfa
155 V6. Furthermore, you can find ejection-seat parts, Gundam bits, guitar string,
and pieces of Verlinden’s 1/48 scale Apache update set. I ordered the figure
from MCM Creation.”
