ago, I thought the beautiful teardrop hull and small size would make an
excellent ‘what if’ starting point for a new littoral waters attack sub,”
Edward says. “Giving it the ‘official’ designation NSSN Skipjack II, I created a filleted sail, moved the diving planes
from the sail to the nose, and created a modern propeller from the three-bladed
kit part.”
