Ken used
1/35 scale Dragon figures to depict U.S. Marines at the Chosin Reservoir in the
Korean War in a scene he calls “Ridgerunners.” He carved a base from foam;
mountains and rockwork are cast in Hydrocal gypsum cement and two-part epoxy;
and the snow is from Woodland Scenics. Ken says, “I wanted to create a
mini-museum display. The story of the Chosin Reservoir is an incredible tale.”
