Nker says, “As I
am a surgeon, I used some items from the operating room. The radio antenna is
from a catheter guide wire, and the rope that holds the spare tracks at the
front is a surgical suture.” His surgical skills were employed on Tamiya’s 1/35
scale Panzer IV Ausf H. He painted with enamels, washed with artist’s oils, and
dusted with pastel chalks. “I tried to portray a tank from the 6th Panzer
Division at the time of the end of the Spring Awakening Operation in Hungary in
1945.”
