John enjoyed building HobbyBoss’ 1/35 scale Defender XD “Wolf” WMIK. “Very nicely molded,” he says. “The parts just fell into place.” He applied Testors Model Master British Gulf armor light stone for the base coat and weathered with raw umber and lamp black artist’s oils followed by a light dusting of desert-color pastels, using a pencil for chips and scratches and overcoating with flat clear.
