“I’m a native Argentinean, and the Fuerza Aerea Argentina Skyhawks were a familiar sight in the sky while I was growing up,” Pablo says. He built a Falklands War version of the plane, masking with rolls of Blu-Tack and painting with Testors Model Master enamels. He highlighted the panel lines with an oil wash and applied some light weathering with Tamiya pastels. “I feel very proud of the paint job, as it replicates very well the camouflage of the real airplanes back in 1982,” he says.
