Frank Klibbe was a pilot in the 61st Fighter Squadron, 56th Fighter Group, 8th Air
Force, and a baseball player who included the name of his local nine on his
plane: Little Chief — Anderson Indians.
Alvah built Tamiya’s 1/48 scale P-47D with Klibbe’s markings and added Eduard’s
prepainted photoetched metal and True Details resin wheels.
