Nathan writes: “I served aboard the USS Independence in the mid-90s, and VFA-27 replaced a Tomcat squadron as the Tomcats were being phased out. The markings on this 1/48 scale Hornet represent the “CAG bird” at the time. I built an older Revell kit, painted it with Testors Acryls, and used aftermarket decals.”
