Javier decanted Tamiya spray-can navy blue to paint this Tamiya 1/48 scale F4U-1D. The model is bolstered by an Eduard photoetched-metal detail set, M.V. Products lenses (for clear, amber, and red lights), True Details resin wheels, and Scale Aircraft Conversions landing gear. He wired the engine, added detail to the landing gear bays, and yellow and white bands on the aircraft. SuperScale decals mark the Corsair for VMF-351 aboard the USS Cape Gloucester.
