Ricardo Hernandez Severino, La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Ricardo says, “This model came to me in a plastic bag without box, decals, or instruction sheet, but I think it is a 1/48 scale A/B-26C Invader. During the build I realized the interior detail was fabulous, so I decided to show it by cutting the fuselage and wings with a hot model knife. I scratchbuilt the engine, wing, bay interiors, and electrical and fuel systems. I hand-painted the invasion stripes and fuselage with Tamiya acrylic paint. Decals are from my spares and, yes, probably do not correspond to the model, nationality, or period.”
